Teaching since 1983, Kelly Coffey-Meyer
has designed and implemented group fitness programs in the
largest clubs in Philadelphia and New Jersey. She was the
first person to bring AFAA to Philadelphia in 1988 and has
earned her programs "Best of Philly" awards.
Always a competitive athlete,
Kelly earned a field Hockey scholarship and a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in communications at Rider University. Her fitness
training for sports and wellness was further utilized in a south
Jersey bodybuilding competition in the early 1980's.
In 2006, Kelly threw herself in the filming & producing arena to
"have something to show for her life's work" and to "raise awareness
to Dimentia" which robbed her father of his health and eventually
his life. In the four short years she has been in the DVD business
she has succcessfully released 12 workouts worldwide and has been
recognized by the industries' best, including Fitness Magazine and
USA Today. Kelly's decades of teaching, her love of helping other
Moms feel good and her desire to use her abilities to their fullest
has aided her in successfully building her own niche in a very
competitve and already etablished arena.
Now in her 40's and the mother of
two boys, Kelly remains rooted in the fitness industry where she
continues to inspire others in their quest for health and
fitness.
Kelly is AFAA and AAAI certified.

Kris has been featured in ALL 9
Coffeyfit Videos.
I was born and raised in New
Jersey. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Advertising and Public Relations. I worked for a large advertising firm in NYC
for three years as an Account Executive on the Toyota car account. I married my
neighbor and college sweet heart and we have two boys, ages 14 and 9. We
currently own and operate our own business near our hometown. I have always been
involved in sports since an early age. Softball and soccer in High school and
then onto the tennis team in college. I enjoy exercising, running, and recently
golf and tennis which are my new loves, but I still have a ways to go yet. Of
course, taking Kelly's classes have always been my favorite and it is a lot of
fun while staying my young 40 (something)
years.

proven, without a shadow of a doubt, to be the best modifier in the business!"
- Kelly Coffey Meyer
Growing up in South Jersey with 3 older brothers, sports
and fitness were always apart of my life. Playing varsity field hockey and
softball in high school I knew I needed to bring that love of fitness with
me to college. I started teaching group fitness my freshman year at The
University of Denver in order to ward off that "freshman 15." Graduating
with a B.S.B.A. I still continued to teach group fitness as I explored a
career in banking and then working for a fortune 100 company. After my
second son was born I was a victim of the technology corporate downsizing.
However, I took the time to stay home with my boys and further my love of
fitness. Teaching group fitness for now close to 20 years, I've expanded my
knowledge by gaining a personal training certification through ACSM along
with mat Pilates and Pilates reformer certifications and MADD dog spinning
certification. I believe all of this knowledge helps me to pass my
knowledge of fitness to others.
After living in CO for almost 10 years, I moved back to
NJ to be closer to family. Because of this I was able to cross paths with
Kelly and finally take classes from an instructor who gave me what I hope I
gave my class participants. After bugging Kelly to give me a "tryout" to
teach for her club (and I mean I had to BEG) I was able to convince her that
my love of teaching was like hers. I've now taught for Kelly for close to 6
years now and continue to learn and grow from her knowledge everyday. I
love every bit of being apart of her exercise video process - not only have
I accomplished something I never thought I would but I've gained an amazing
friendships that I would never have had otherwise!
Coffeyfit is dedicated to the memory of my father, William D. Coffey
